In one of Infoguide's Previous topic, one of our author provided The List of Top 20 Richest African Billionaires, so today we are here to list out the top 5 richest Bankers in Nigeria.
Becoming a billionaire is something most people only dream about all their life. Despite the state of the nigerian economy, a lot of Nigerians are really doing well, meet 5 of the richest bankers in Nigeria below.

1.  Pascal Dozie, Diamond Bank


Pascal Dozie is the founder and former chairman of Diamond bank. His networth is $1.1 billion is a Co-Founder, Partner, and Non-Executive Partner at African Capital Alliance. He is the Founder of Kunoch Limited.  Mr. Dozie also serves as the Chairman of MTN Nigeria Communications Ltd. and the Co- Chairman of the Commonwealth Business Council board, among other positions he currently holds and has held in the past.

2. Tony Elumelu, UBA

Tony Elumelu

Tony Elumelu is a revered business man with investments in ventures including Transcorp, and real estate across Nigeria. He has a net worth of $ 1 billion and was ranked Forbes 26th richest African man in 2014. He owns major stock in the United Bank for Africa (UBA). He served as CEO of UBA until 2010 and then set up Heirs Holding to invest across Africa. He is the founder of the Tony Elumelu foundation which is an African based and funded NGO. He is married to Dr. Awele Elumelu and they have 5 children.

3. Jim Ovia, Zenith Bank

Jim Ovia

Jim Ovia is the founder and chairman of the large commercial bank, Zenith Bank Plc. He has a net worth of $980m and is the largest individual shareholder of the bank with a  9.3% stake. He is also the  promoter and Founder of Visafone Communications Limited and the Proprietor of the University of Information and Communication Technology, Agbor, Delta State. He is married to Mrs Kay Ovia and has 2 children. He was rated Forbes 30th richest African man in 2014.

4. Fola Adeola

Fola Adeola

Tajudeen Afolabi Adeola is the co-founder of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB). He was the MD/CEO of GTB from inception in 1990 till 2002 when he retired voluntarily. He is the founder and chairman of the FATE foundation, an NGO. He is married to Hadara Adeola and they have 4 children.

5. Subomi Balogun

BALOGUN-1/PRESS-2/MY DOCUMENT/MARCH 09BALOGUN

Otunba Subomi Michael Balogun,CON, is the Founder of FCMB Group and a trail blazer and pioneer extraordinaire in the Nigerian financial and business sector. The First City Monument Bank has become a legacy which has now been handed down to the next generation and is currently headed by his son Mr. Ladi Balogun, CEO First City Monument Bank. He is married to Olori Abimbola Balogun and they have 4 children.

In one of Infoguide's Previous topic, one of our author provided The List of Top 20 Richest African Billionaires, so today we are here to list out the top 5 richest Bankers in Nigeria.
Becoming a billionaire is something most people only dream about all their life. Despite the state of the nigerian economy, a lot of Nigerians are really doing well, meet 5 of the richest bankers in Nigeria below.
